Matt is a self-taught tattoo artists who has been tattooing professionally for twelve years. He opened Progression Tattoo in August of 2009 which has since secured its place as a leading boutique tattoo studio in Adelaide. Matt has attended many Australian and international tattoo conventions including the prestigious Bay Area Convention of the Arts in San Francisco. He has done guest spots at Westside Tattoo in Brisbane, Korpus Tattoo in Melbourne, Lighthouse Tattoo in Sydney and Seventh Son Tattoo in San Francisco.
With a particular interest in Japanese style tattooing, Matt has furthered this passion by travelling regularly to Japan over the past five years to complete a body suit from renowned artist Shige at Yellowblaze Tattoo Studio in Yokohama. While he loves Japanese style tattoos, Matt is happy tattooing any style or design. In his spare time he enjoys water colour painting.
