"After waiting many years I was finally able to meet Mayday Parade, my absolute favorite band. Their music has had such a positive impact on my life. When I met them I asked the lead singer Derek to write down some song lyrics and I explained why they meant so much to me and how they would be turned into a tattoo, he gladly agreed and did so. 5 days later on my birthday, I got the lyrics “Stay safe, stay strong” tattooed on my right shoulder and it is always there as a reminder.
