ARTISTS STATEMENT
The entire project is more than 10 years of work and it is something we would like to consider our masterpiece.
The connections and roots of the festival run very deep. It has taken considerable time and years of work to bring it from inception, to the stage it is currently at.
The festival is the absolute essence of what you may regard as a grass roots movement. It has been born out of deep human connections between ourselves and others over 12 years. It has been created from a zero financial budget or outside investment. It’s been built through sheer determination, driven simply by a positive idea and
with the mighty strength of a small collective of very supportive believers and volunteers. It is possible because of the determination of the people involved to keep their arts and traditions alive.
These are the arts we offer to bring to you.
Since our humble beginnings in the Marlogue Inn, Cork, Ireland, we have built the concept to huge proportions, and with a massive international following and support.
This is our Masterpiece, and our chance to make a positive change to the world
