June 27th · Lucy got a new tattoo on the back of her left arm, above her elbow, to celebrate that the meaning of her name is light. It is a vintage style light-bulb done in a single needle style. It was done by Dr Woo and Lucy said it was her favorite tattoo yet: “My most recent tattoo was from Dr. Woo, a lightbulb. The meaning of my name is light, so I actually have a light tattooed, too, that Dr. Woo did years ago.”
Sometime in March or April 2017, Lucy got tattooed a simple sun on the left side of her back. Done before April 12th. It’s on the opposite side to her crescent moon tattoo and in the same style.
October 27, 2016 · Lucy, along with Sasha, Janel, Ashley, Troian and Shay, visited Shamrock Social Club during the night to get a matching finger tattoo. Each one of the girls got the first letter of their character from Pretty Little Liars’ name and a full stop tattooed on their fingers.
Lucy got a lower case “A” for Aria on the proximal of her right index finger. The idea of the tattoo is that it’s only seen when the person raises their index finger to do a “Shh” motion and is a tribute to PLL - as each of the girls do a “Shh” at the end of the theme song. Lucy was the originally the only cast member to do the motion in the intro.
Lucy has a simple eye on her right Achilles heel. The first time it was seen was July 2nd, 2016.
On January 11, 2016, at the SiriusXM Studios in New York, Lucy revealed a new tattoo, which is an outline of a crescent moon on top of her “catch the foxes for us” quote on her right side. This tattoo wasn’t seen up until this point because of the placement, and she got it sometime after July 2015 as it wasn’t seen when she wore a bikini then. Lucy has been seen wearing moon necklaces and clothing with moons on them, so we assume the meaning is she just likes the symbol of the moon.
Her next tattoo reads “Courage, dear heart” on her left ribcage, underneath her left boob. Like her “light” tattoo, it is written in a script font. She got it in late 2013 or 2014. This is actually from a quote from “The Voyager of the Dawn Treader” by C.S. Lewis. This is the full extract: “But no one except Lucy knew that as it circled the mast it had whispered to her, “Courage, dear heart,” and the voice, she felt sure, was Aslan’s, and with the voice a delicious smell breathed in her face.”
Lucy’s next tattoo is another quote on the right side of her ribcage. It reads “catch the foxes for us.” She may have gotten this tattoo on her trip to the Shamrock Tattoo parlour back in September 2012, as she could be seen on the beach in the summer of 2013 with it. The quote is from the bible verse, Song of Solomon 2:15. Here is the full quote: “Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.”
Lucy’s second tattoo is “light” written on the left side of her ribcage. She got this one sometime in or before 2012, as she was pictured in February 2012 with the tattoo: "The meaning of my name is light, so I actually have a "light" tattooed, too, that Dr. Woo did years ago.”
“My first tattoo I ever got was a bow from Dr. Woo, before he was Dr. Woo.”
